We have known about the climate challenge for 50 years or more, but chose to ignore it.

Even now, as we approach the point of no return, the point where we can no longer prevent a climate crisis, we are bogged down in denial and partisanship.

The recent UN report on climate change, Climate Change 2013 The Physical Science Basis, modeled extremely conservative scenarios and left whole technologies out of the option set.

The report concludes that the temperature increase by mid-century or so will not be above 2C. Sure, the graphs show other ranges, but the report plays that down. Read More …
